CBR400RR EXCELLENT CONDITION 1988 NC23 in Portsmouth, Hampshire for sale

Here for sale is my winter project...bought from a guy with fork seals needing replacing, carbs needed putting back on, and front brakes needed attention. I have fitted the new fork seals, new oil in forks. complete overhaul of the front calipers with new pads, new seals, new fluid, new master cylinder, brakes are like new now. New spark plugs... new engine oil and filter. drained, cleaned and replaced coolant. New air filter. As you can see the bike is in stunning condition (1988, 28 years old) looks almost new. It does have new rear sets, exhaust can has been replaced and sounds great. I think you'll agree this is (the most patriotic of colours) best colour scheme, very Honda, yet very British all in one..... Having cleaned, checked and cleaned jets, etc and put the carbs back on, the bike starts and runs ,but not firing correctly on all cylinders, i suspect the air screws need adjustment, and the carbs needs balancing/ setting up. It all works, as in lights, indicators, horn, brakes lights, and tyres are good so should sail through mot, but i have no insurance, van etc. to get it there, besides I am now on my (should have been winter) spring project of cafe racer BMW project..and need the space. come and have a look at a truly fantastic '80's classic that are ever increasing in popularity and asking price......
